Time to Grab Life by the Horns

Hey There:)

A COUPLE OF THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK

You may never feel 100% ready. But waiting around for that magical moment of “readiness” is just a fancy way of procrastinating. You want Clarity? Confidence? Control? They come from taking action, not from sitting on the sidelines. So, stop waiting for life to give you a green light and go ahead and take that first step.

Take a Minute: Think about where you’ve been holding back, waiting for some sign from the universe. What if that sign is you giving yourself the go-ahead? Stop waiting for signs and make it happen!

A COUPLE QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF

What have you been putting off because it didn’t feel like “the right time”? Are there goals or dreams you’ve benched because of some imaginary checklist that has to be complete first? What’s one thing you could do today to move the needle toward the life you really want? Even if it’s just a tiny, courageous step, go for it, even if it scares the crap out of you. And yeah, I’m talking about taking one tiny, courageous step, even if it scares the crap out of you.

From Me to You: These questions aren’t just for pondering. Use them in your journal, or just mull them over with your morning coffee. The answers might surprise you.

CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK

Screw waiting for permission. You’re the boss here, so why not start acting like it? This week, pick one thing you’ve been delaying and just do it. It could be something small, like sending that email you’ve been avoiding, or something bigger, like finally signing up for that course or having that tough conversation.

Heads Up: Small actions can snowball into massive changes. When you take that step, hit me up and let me know how it went. Seriously, I want to hear about it.

WHAT’S NEW AROUND HERE

Mastering the 3Cs: Clarity, Confidence, and Control – These aren’t just buzzwords. They’re the backbone of Your Empowerment Moment™. This week, we’re focusing on Confidence, how to build it up, keep it strong, and let it guide you through the challenges that life throws your way. We’ll also tackle those nagging feelings of being “undeserving” that often surface when you’re about to take a bold step forward. It’s time to recognize your worth and stop letting those thoughts hold you back.

Coming Soon: The Empowerment Toolkit – I’m working on a no-nonsense guide to help you identify where you’re feeling stuck and how to get unstuck, fast. Think of it as your personal cheat sheet for taking back control.

WORDS FROM THE CROWD

I’ve been hearing from some of you about the small steps you’re taking to reclaim your power. Here are a couple of moments that really stood out:

For Jessica, prioritizing mental health wasn’t about making drastic changes, but it made all the difference:

“I’ve been running on empty for so long, constantly overwhelmed by everything on my plate. Finally, I decided to start saying ‘no’ to things that weren’t essential. It hasn’t been easy, and I’m still figuring it out, but I’m starting to feel like I have a bit more control over my life. It’s a work in progress.”

Sometimes, it’s the small adjustments that start to make everything feel just a little bit more manageable. Jessica’s story is a reminder that taking control doesn’t mean overhauling your entire life overnight, it’s about making choices that help you regain your footing, one step at a time.

An anonymous reader shared how a small shift at work made a difference, even if things aren’t perfect:

“I’ve been stuck in a rut at work for what feels like forever. I started trying to speak up more in meetings and set some small goals for myself. I’m not going to lie, it’s been tough, and some days I still feel like I’m not getting anywhere. But I did finish a project that had been hanging over me for months. I don’t know where this will lead, but I’m hoping I can keep pushing forward.”

The feeling of being stuck is something we can all relate to. It’s important to recognize that progress doesn’t always come with fanfare, it’s often those quiet, persistent efforts that eventually move the needle. This reader’s experience is a reminder that even when the path isn’t clear, continuing to push forward is a victory in itself.

A Quick Note: I love hearing about your experiences, whether they’re big wins or just small steps forward. Every bit of progress matters, so keep them coming. Just hit reply to share your story, and if you’d rather stay anonymous, that’s totally fine. Just let me know.

LET’S DO THIS AGAIN NEXT WEEK

Remember, empowerment isn’t a one-and-done deal. It’s a constant journey. So let’s keep pushing forward, one powerful step at a time. I’m here to help you every step of the way.

Stay awesome,
