He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.” I always thought this was rather cowardly. He could have just said,

Oh I agree Adam needed to take responsibility for his actions. I'm just saying not every marital issue neatly lines up with how things went down in the Garden of Eden. 😅

Thank you for asking this question, Bill, it's an important one. I'm the 37 year old daughter of two abusive parents with narcissistic traits, my father being by far the more aggressive of the two, and I'm going to share what I learned. I'm going to write this as my teenage

You're welcome. I'm sorry you found it so relatable and grew up in an abusive home too. I think what's standing out to me as an adult is how my teenage self would construct narratives to give herself hope. Jim was imagined as a perfect, loving man, and secretly in love with my

You've been through such a lot, and I think it's wonderful that you're channeling it into something positive and both educating and connecting with others. I'm sorry to hear that your life was almost ended at 50 and I'm very glad you're still here, too. I thought that I was
